Attorney Meyers stated that he still had two open files for easements involving
the Edgewood walkway. Councilman Neisen said that both Hansen and Schauffhausen
gave verbal permission to go on their properties.
The contract for the fire protection was presented with questions arising as to
the basis of computation. Assessed value is used but is not necessarily an
accurate indicator if the sales ratios between counties are different.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To adopt Ordinance #182 regulating snowmobiles in the
Village of Mounds View.
Discussion folbwed at which it was made clear that generally their operation was
excluded from paved streets and improved boulevards, private property, and posted
public property.
Engineer Boehm's Report
Engineer Boehm suggested that the minutes reflect that the $7,500.00 certified
check left on deposit by Petersen - Templin as mentioned in the minutes of
December 14th is to be returned subject to the concurrence of HUD and the
Village Engineer. The Council concurred.
Councilman Malvin stated that his service on the council these last 12 years
has been an education and that no one has ever influenced his vote. He hopes
that the Council can maintain the high integrity of the past. Councilman
Blanchard led in applause for Councilman Malvin's service to the community.
