VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW

March 8, 1971
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, March 8, 1971 at the Village Hall, 2401
Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

Councilman Johnson

MSP (Neisen /Blanchard) To approve the minutes of February 22, 1971. 5 Ayes
Residents Requests and Comments from the floor
Frank Wagoner of Component Homes Inc. requested Council approval of two section
housing being built in Hugo. Mr. Wagoner was referred to the building inspector
and the Planning Commission. Mr. Skiba is to check on the construction at the
factory and make a report to the Council.
Mayor Rustad's Report
Mayor Rustad read the police report for February.
MSP (Rustad /Neisen) To appoint Roger Baumgartner to the Planning Commission
to fill the vacancy created by Ordinance #184 passed February 22nd. 5 Ayes
MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To appoint the following Planning Commission members to
terms expiring on December 31, 1971 - Ben Falk, Robert Larson and Roger
Baumgartner; to terms expiring on December 31, 1972 - Charlotte Forslund, Al
Hillsdale and James Burgraff; to terms expiring on December 31, 1973 - George
Gustafson, Phyllis Blanchard and Milt Stole.
Mayor Rustad appointed Councilman Johnson to serve as liason officer between the
Council and the Planning Commission.
Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Cement Work -
Dave Berry Construction, Burton Anderson Contractor; General Contractor -
Mar -Donn Construction, Dailey Homes, Inc.; Sign and Billboard - Universal
Sign Co.; Heating - All Season Comfort, Rose Plumbing & Heating and
Anti- Pol).ution Devices Inc.
MSP (Hodges /Neisen) To approve the following bills - General check #'s 4913 -4920,
Payroll check #'s 1958 -1980 and Bond check # 593. Total disbursements -
$115,965.76.
