MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To authorize Police Chief Grabowski to act as agent
of the Mounds View Police Department for making application for federal
and state funds in the area of law enforcement.
MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an
agreement with the City of Blaine to allow certain residents on County Road J
West of Spring Lake Road to connect to the City of Blaine water and sewer
system.
Councilman Hodges' Report
Councilman Hodges announced that Recreation meetings will be held the 2nd
and 4th Tuesdays at 7:00 P.M. henceforth.
Councilman Neisen's Report
MSP (Neisen /Rustad) To authorize the attendance of Walter Skiba at the seminar
on The Inspector and the Law on March 29 - 31 at the University of Minnesota
and to pay all related expenses.
Councilman Neisen also announced that he was appointed secretary- treasurer of
the North Suburban Sewer Service Board.
Attorney Meyers' Report
Attorney Meyers reminded the Council of the following ordinance amendments to
be acted on: dog license and impounding fees, dog leash law, and increase in
the square footage requirement for dwellings. All proposed changes were
deferred.

MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To accept the preliminary report and cost estimate for
sanitary sewer, water, and street improvement project 1971 -1. 5 Ayes
Attorney Meyers stated that he would start a summons and complaint on the Cheis
matter in April.
