MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To prohibit construction in any Rl district of any room
less than 10 feet wide except bathroom, and any room with a floor area of less
than 110 square feet except kitchen and bathroom.
Attorney Meyers was directed to prepare one ordinance incorporating all the
changes. (Ordinance # 185)
Walter O'Connell, 2260 Highway #10, inquired as to whether Mr. Herbst was going
to develop his property this year as there has been a problem with blowing sand.
The Clerk's office is to contact Mr. Herbst.
Carol Baumgartner, 7585 Knollwood Drive, inquired as to the status of the village
newsletter and the leash law. After discussion it was decided to continue to
explore the costs of the newsletter. The dog ordinance amendment is to come
later in the meeting.
Mayor Rustad's Report
Mayor Rustad suggested possible legislation against trail bikes. Councilman
Neisen stated what is needed is stricter enforcement of the present laws.

MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General Ck #s 4979 -5025,
Payroll Ck #s 2010 -2030 and WS- MINN -45 Ck #. 085. Total disbursements $20,584.27. 5 Ayes
MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To enter into a new fiscal contract with Ehlers and
Associates. 5 Ayes
MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To advertise for bids for village hall alterations
Project 1971 -2, carpeting and painting, for May 3rd at 12 noon. 5 Ayes
MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To adopt Resolution #519 apportioning the assessments on
Division #42835. 5 Ayes
MSP (Blanchard /Neisen) To adopt Resolution #520 apportioning the assessments
on Division #42834. 5 Ayes
Clerk - Administrator Zylla announced receipt of the agreement with Blaine allowing
certain residents on County Road J west of Spring Lake Road to connect to
Blaine's sewer and water system.
