Councilman Hodges' Report
Councilman Hodges announced receipt of a letter from the Lake Region Hockey
Association thanking us for the use of the hockey rinks this past year.
Councilman Hodges also presented a check for $75.00 from the Mounds View Jaycees
for park improvements.
MSP (Hodges /Rustad) To appoint Mrs. Barbara Haake to the Mounds View Recreation
Committee.
Councilman Neisen's Report

MSP (Neisen /Rustad) To send Art Holm to the Water Works Operators School from
May 3 - 5 and Larry Decheine to the Waste Water Operators Institute from May 5 - 7
and to pay all related expenses. 5 Ayes
MSP (Neisen /Rustad) To advertise for bids on April 24th at 12 noon for a tractor
to be used in general village maintenance including mowing and ice rink snow
removal.
MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To set a hearing on May 17th at 7:00 P.M. to consider a
renumbering of certain properties in the Village and a possible postal zone change.5 Ayes
Attorney Meyers' Report
Attorney Meyers announced that Mr. Quayle of Ramsey County was preparing papers
necessary to release the Chies Construction Company money to the Village.
Attorney Meyers presented an ordinance to amend the present dog ordinance requiring
higher license, impounding and board fees. After discussion it was decided to
raise the license fee for males and spayed females to $3.00 and unspayed females
to $6.00 rather than $12.00. Cats were also to be excluded in the amendment.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To enter into a new contract with Comstock & Davis to
provide consulting engineering services to the Village.
MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To adjourn at 11:06 P.M.
