HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000026_pg33PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA April 26,1971 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Rustad at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 1971 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Rustad Councilman Hodges Councilman Blanchard Councilman Neisen Absent: Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm Councilman Johnson MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To approve the minutes of April 12, 1971. Residents Requests and Comments from the floor Anthony Holschuh appeared to request the vacation of 30 feet of right -of -way north of Holschuh 1st Addition, dedicated in the plat. MSP (Rustad /Blanchard) To set a hearing to consider the vacation of the north 30 feet of Holschuh Addition for May 24th at 8:30 P.M. Said 30 feet was dedicated for Woodale Drive, Bennett Goldberg appeared to request information from the Council on moving a building into Mounds View to be used as an off sale liquor store on the Mermaid Supper Club property bordering on County Road H. Mr. Goldberg was referred to the Clerk - Administrator. Vern Sinderson and Gordon Aspenson appeared to seek the extension of Sunnyside north from Ardan approximately 630 feet, MSP (Rustad /Hodges) To accept the petition for proposed Sunnyside north from Ardan approximately 630 feet and proposed Ardan from Eastwood to Red Oak (1971 -1A) and to embody the preliminary report for 1971 -1 into this project and to set the hearing for May 10th at 8:45 P.M. The Council emphasized that no storm sewer was necessary for Project 1971 -1A. Mr. and Mrs. H. Brandt, 7931 Woodlawn, appeared to request Council approval of a residential kennel license. Their petition was referred to the police department for investigation;. Mrs. Verna Brockway, Mayor Rustad's appointee to the St. Paul Association for Retarded Children sponsored Day Camp reported on the meeting and requested Village participation in the funding. MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To authorize the transfer of $100 from the General Fund to the Recreation Department to contract with the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department to provide facilities for Mounds View retarded children. 4 Ayes 4 Ayes 4 Ayes 4 Ayes
