VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
November 8, 1971
The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by
Councilman Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 8, 1971 at the Village Hall,
2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To approve the minutes of October 18th and November 3rd,
1971.

Residents Requests and Comments from the floor
Eldon Munholand, Community One representative, requested Village action on the
Joint Powers Agreement relative to Community One. Attorney Meyers reported
that the Village involvement would mean a contribution the first year of $2,400.00
and that New Brighton would handle the hiring of the staff personnel as they have
the larger share. As of this date Shoreview, New Brighton and Ardan Hills have
approved the agreements. The Village Council decided to take the matter up at
the next agenda meeting.
Councilman Neisen's Report
Councilman Neisen read the police report for October.
MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the installation of street lights at the inter-
section of Ardan Avenue and Red Oak Drive, at the intersection of Ardan Avenue
and Grovelamd Road and midway between the block on Ardan Avenue between Red Oak
and Groveland Road.
Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report
MSP (Hodges /Johnson) To approve the following licenses: General Contractor -
Quality Construction Service, Inc., Mid States Construction, Sinco Construction
Inc., Joe's Home Improvement Company; Heating - Heating Service Company; and
Sewer and Water - Berghorst Plumbing and Heating.

MSP (Johnson /Hodges) To approve general check #'s 5590 consecutive through
5659, payroll check #'s 2357 consecutive through 2376. Total disbursements
$29,884.91. 3 Ayes
MSP (Hodges /Neisen) To approve Resolution #546 apportioning the assessments
on Division #44148. 3 Ayes
MSP (Neisen /Johnson) To approve Resolution #547 apportioning the assessments
on Division #44022. 3 Ayes
