conduct Bingo starting on Monday, January 17th and every Monday thereafter for a
period of thirteen weeks with hours of operation from 8:00 P.M. to 12 :00 P.M.
The game is to be conducted at the Bel Rae Ballroom.
Clerk- Administrator Zylla announced that School District 621 has submitted a
check for $20,917.27 for payment owed for assessments due as a result of litigation
involving Projects 1965 -1, 1967 -5 and 1968 -1. A stipulation of dismissal was filed
in district court on October 22, 1971.
MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To adopt Resolution #554 directing and authorizing the
chief of police to support and share in the participation of a training program
conducted by the Village of Roseville in conjunction with the Governor's Crime
Commission.
MSP (Blanchard /Hodges) To accept a certified check for $5,000 for Johnson Bros.
Highway and Heavy Equipment Contractors with the agreement to release the check
if the remaining work left under Project 1971 -1 is completed by July 1st. The
check is to be returned to Johnson Bros. after approval has been granted by
Ramsey County and the Village Engineer.
A letter from Fire Chief Ron Fagerstrom requesting clarification on possible
conflicts between the State Building Code and Village Ordinance #174 relating
to the Fire Code was referred to Attorney Meyers.

MSP (Blanchard /Johnson) To adopt Resolution #555 apportioning the assessments
on Division #44339. 4 Ayes

Councilman Hodges' Report
Councilman Hodges reported on the list of warminghouse attendants approved by
the Recreation Committee and on a meeting held with the Lakeside Park Commission.
MSP (Hodges /Blanchard) To approve the following rink attendants for 1971 -1972
at a rate of $2.00 per hour: Norman Lelm, Phil Buck, Clarence Nordstrom, Dave
Moore, Bob Lind, Ken Lelm, Bruce Munholland, Bill Newman, Ken La,fquist. and
Ron Cloflin. Substitutes are Steve Hagen, Dale Meyer, Dennis Nihart, Don
Van Reese and Bill Mezzano. Mr. Nordstrom is to have supervisory responsibility
over all the rink attendants.
Clerk - Administrator Zylla was authorized to inquire whether there are any schools
available on the maintenance of ice skating rinks.
Councilman Neisen's Report
MS (Neisen /Johnson) That Keith Harstad be required to have a soils report by an
accredited testing lab on the property to be considered for commercial and town-
houses at the hearing scheduled for January 24th, and that it be furnished to the
Planning Commission before any action is taken by them in referring the matter to
the Village Council.
MSP (Johnson /Blanchard) To amend Councilman Neisen's motion to include that
Mr. Harstad also provide the information requested in Son 106 of the
Subdivision Regulations with the exception of Section 106.2 -8.
