HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090-000028_pg26PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA April 10, 1972 The Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 1972 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Neisen Councilman Hodges Councilman Johnson Councilman Baumgartner Councilman Pickar Also Present: Clerk - Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm MSP (Hodges /Pickar) To approve the minutes of March 27th, 1972 corrected to read in first sentence Councilman Pickar's Report "April 19th ". 5 Ayes Residents Requests and Comments from the floor Harry Gum presented a request for a street light on Greenwood between County Road I and Hillview Road. Mayor Neisen's Report Mayor Neisen read the police report for March. Mayor Neisen announced that 102 Ordinance #92 (junk car) warnings and ten Ordinance #55 (garbage) warnings were issued today. 125 junk cars were involved in the ticketing. The police are to continue tagging tomorrow North of TH 10 and East of Long Lake Road. Mayor Neisen stated that the Mounds View Snowmobile Club had presented a check for $300 to the Village to be used on the Village parks. Clerk - Administrator Zylla's Report MSP (Neisen /Hodges) To approve the following licenses: Excavating - Lloyd's Excavating; Plastering & Outside Stucco - Floyd Peterson Stucco & Plastering; Garbage /Rubbish Hauler - Reamer's Rubbish Removal, Suburban Pickup Service Inc, and J & W Pickup Service. MSP (Pickar/Baumgartner).' To approve the following bills: General checks #5989 consecutive through 6033 and Payroll checks #2647 consecutive through 2667. Total disbursements $2 ,5,693.92. Clerk- Administrator Zylla announced the receipt of the signed permit from the Minnesota Ballroom Operators Association which sets forth the conditions for the July 9th Polka Festival. A signed statement was also received releasing Mounds View of any property damage or personal injury liability. Councilman Hodges' Report Councilman Hodges stated that he has received two calls, one requesting a fence for Hillview Park and one inquiring about when the streets will be swept. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes
