commented that the railings were at the maintenance shop and due to the shortage of
man power they have not been installed. With the hiring of additional help for the
summer he was hoping to get this work done.
'Councilman Baumgartner stated there would be a Park Board meeting on Wednesday
evening and the ordering of new swings was on the agenda. Saturday morning the
hockey boards will be replaced.
Utility Billing Clerk Sandgren's Report
MSP (Johnson /Baumgartner) To approve the following licenses: Asphalt - Darrell
Quinehan; General Contractor - Arnold C. Palmer Const. Co., Olson Concrete Company,
Ives Construction, Derksen Builders, Inc.; Cement - Myrdal & Pearson Construction. 5 Ayes
MSP (Pickar /Hodges) To approve the following bills: General checks No. 6142
consecutive throught 6197, Bond checks No. 612 and 613 and Payroll checks No. 2744
consecutive through 2768. Total disbursements $144,890.53.
Mayor Neisen stated that the check made out to him for $150 was to go to Rochester
to the League of Minnesota Municipalities Convention. Any unused money would be
turned back to the Village.

MSP (Johnson /Baumgartner) To authorize the Clerk to sign the final Plat for
Leonard Goodroad. 5 Ayes
The final plat involved 8273 and 8275 Eastwood Road making four lots out of the
present two and granting a 30 ft. easement at the back of the property.
Councilman Hodges' Report
No report. Councilman Hodges stated that Clerk - Administrator Zylia was at
Camp Ripley for two weeks therefore absent from the Council meeting.
Councilman Johnson's Report
Councilman Johnson stated a new date would have to be set for the public hearing
of the street address renumbering.
MSP (Johnson /Pickar) To set the public hearing date for the street address re-
numbering for July 24th at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes
Councilman Baumgartner stated that the hearing had originally been scheduled for
June 26th. but was postponed.
Councilman Johnson read a petition for a street light to be installed on Greenwood
Drive somewhere between Hillview Road and Sherwood Road, to be installed in the
proximity of Hillview Park.
MSP (Johnson /Baumgartner) To install two street lights, one to be located on the
corner of the park property. 5 Ayes
Chief Grabowski was directed to check the area to see where the street lights
should be placed to do the most good.
At 8:30 P.M. Mayor Neisen announced that the hearing to consider the issuance of
in on sale intoxicating liquor license to Louis Gydesen in connection with a
proposed Anchor Inn Restaurant to be located north of Highway #10 between Red Oak
Drive and Sunnyside Road had been withdrawn. Mr. Gydesen would still like to locate
in the Village of Mounds View but is looking for different territory.
