Aegular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen
at 8 :00 P.M. on Monday, January 8, 1973 at the Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul,
Minnesota 55112.

MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To approve the minutes of December 12, 1972 and January 2, 1973. 4 Ayes
Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor:
Louis Gydesen of the Anchor Inn appeared to request issuance of an on sale intoxicating
liquor license subject to approval of his rezoning, requested for the property South of
County Road H2 between Edgewood and Greenfield Avenue. Mr. Gydesen was directed to the
January 24th Planning Commission meeting.
`9_rt DeGardner presented DeGardner's final plat (preliminary approval 5/24/71). Council
Zeld approval subject to review by the Rice Creek Watershed District.
Mayor Neisen's Report
Mayor Neisen read the police report for December.
MSP (Neisen - Hodges) To approve the following appointments -to the Planning Commission:
Nancy Burmeister, Robert Shelquist and John Burgraff, appointed to three year terms;
two year appointments - Barbara Haake, Ben Falk, and Bob Glazer; one year appointments -
George Gustafson, Phyllis Blanchard and Milton Stole.
Police Civil Service Commission: three year term - Lowell Uber, two year term - Richard
Paradise, one year term - Glen Dawson, Chairman.
Public Safety Department: Howard Neisen
Lakeside Park Commission: John Pickar
Health Officer: Doctor Sartor
Civil Defense Director: Tim Smith
Park and Recreation Commission: three year terms - Barbara Haake, John Rozman and LaVern
Peterson; two year terms - Roger Baumgartner, Donald Hodges; one year term - Wayne Burmeister,
one opening unfilled.
