January 22, 1973
i Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor
Neisen at 8:02 P.M. on January 22, 1973 at the Mounds View Village Hall, 2401 Highway
#10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112.

Engineer Boehm
Attorney Meyers requested to be excused early because of illness.
Attorney Meyers Report
MSP (Johnson- Hodges) To adopt Ordinance No. 197 amending Chapter 81 of the Code
reducing the period owners have to remove vehicles from Village streets when warning
tickets are issued from 12 hours to 4 hours. 5 Ayes
MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To adopt Ordinance No. 198 adding Chapter 21 to the Code which
creates the Revenue Sharing Fund. 5 Ayes
MSP (Pickar- Hodges) To adopt Ordinance No. 199 adding Chapter 22 to the Code which
creates the Special Police Department Fund. 5 Ayes
Attorney Meyers spoke briefly about Mounds View considering a joint action with the
Metropolitan Council in cooperation with other municipalities in the lawsuit instituted
by New Brighton for the purpose of having their trunk sewer acquired by the Metropolitan
Council.
Attorney Meyers stated Century Motor Freight was set to appear tonight to make a
presentation, but at the last moment changed their plans.
MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To recess the regular meeting at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes
Mayor Neisen called the vacation hearing for easements in the Mounds View Industrial
Park to order at 8:30 P.M. The reading of the legal notice was waived. The Clerk
stated that the legal notice appeared in the New Brighton Bulletin on January llth and
18th.
Engineer boehm explained that the easements were being vacated in the old plat (Langan
Park) and in Unplatted Lands Section 17 and new easements were being granted in the
new plat (Mounds View Industrial Park).
Mayor Neisen called for objections. There were none.
MSP ( Neisen- Johnson) To adopt Resolution No. 591 vacating the easements described in
he legal notice for PBK Investment Company. 5 Ayes
