Mayor Neisen instructed the Clerk to check to insure that no new house numbers (reference
January 15th minutes) were the same as old house numbers.
Mayor Neisen's Report
Mayor Neisen read letters of thanks to the Village Council from the North Suburban Day
Activity Center for their 1973 contribution, and from the New Brighton Bank for being
appointed depository in 1973.
Mayor Neisen read exerpts from the 1972 annual police report. He commended the police
for the fine job they have done with the youth of the community.
MSP (Neisen-Hodges) To appoint David L. Brick police patrolman effective February
16th as recommended by the Police Civil Service Commission.

MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To approve the following licenses: General Contractor - Evans
International Homes. 5 Ayes
MSP (Pickax- Johnson) To approve the following bills: General Fund checks #6935 thru
#6991, Payroll checks #3158 - 3193, Payroll Account checks 1001 and 1002, and check
#6934 transferring $8,346.20 from General Fund, $945.51 from Sewer Utility, and $949.50
from Water Utility to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay of January 30, 1973. Total
disbursements excluding transfer check #6934 $28,987.10. 5 Ayes
MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 592 apportioning the assessments
on Division No. 45925.
MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To accept the 1972 financial statement from the Clerk and to
authorize its publication in abbreviated form.

Councilman Hodges' Report
Councilman Hodges noted that he has received complaints from certain residents recently
about garbage pickup delays and dogs. The Clerk was directed to send a letter to
J & W Pickup regarding the garbage problem.
