Councilman Johnson's Report
^ ouncilman Johnson declared that he has had complaints on snowmobile racing on
oodcrest Drive.
Councilman Baumgartner's Report
Councilman Baumgartner announced that on Thursday the Recreation Commission will meet
with Ken Simons on the County Open Space proposal and Wednesday the Planning Commission
would meet.
MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To appoint Gordon Fedor to the Recreation Commission for the one
year term. 5 Ayes
Councilman Pickar's Report
Councilman Pickar announced that he had received an oral resignation from George Johnson
from the Lakeside Park Commission. Two openings exist on the Commission. The Lakeside
Park Commission will be meeting regularly on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7 :30 P.M.
Mayor Neisen appointed Councilman Pickar as Council representative to the Human Rights
Commission and instructed the Clerk to notify Attorney Meyers to draw up an amendment
to the Human Rights Commission Ordinance changing the membership from 5 to 7 members.
Engineer Boehm's Report
ngineer Boehm presented the plans for Highway Department upgrading of the signalized
intersections at State Highway #10 and Silver Lake Road and State Highway #10 and County
Road H. No Council action necessary.
Engineer Boehm reported on the possible extension of Jackson Drive South to County Road
I from Pinewood Drive. He presented a 1966 cost estimate of $6,960 and noted that the
cost may be up considerably since then.
MSP (Pickar- Neisen) To order the Engineer to prepare a preliminary report and cost
estimate for the extension of Jackson Drive South to County Road I from Pinewood Drive.
(Project 1973 -3). 5 Ayes
MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To approve the final plat of the PBK Investment Company and to
authorize the Clerk to sign it. 5 Ayes
(First plat approved on October 10, 1972 never filed).
MSP (Pickar- Baumgartner) To adjourn at 9:18 P.M. 5 Ayes
