HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000031_pg028PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY March 26, 1973 A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on March 26, 1973, at the Mounds View Village Hall, 2401 Highway #10, St. Paul, Minnesota 55112. Present: Mayor Neisen Councilman Baumgartner Councilman Johnson Councilman Hodges Absent: Councilman Pickar Also Present: Clerk - Administrator Zylla Attorney Meyers Engineer Boehm MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of March 12, 1973. 4 Ayes MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To continue to hold Check #7115 to School District #621 based on an opinion of the New Brighton village attorney that in order to pay the proposed expenditure a joint powers agreement must be entered into between the school district and the Village. Attorney Meyers was authorized to contact the school district inquiring as to whether they would enter into a joint powers agree- ment with the Village of Mounds View, in which case, the check would be released. 4 Ayes Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor George Johnson, real estate broker presented a petition for the extension of Knollwood Drive from Ardan Avenue to County Road J. MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) To accept the petition for the extension of Knollwood Drive from Ardan Avenue to County Road J. 4 Ayes MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To order a revised preliminary report and cost estimate of the applicable section dealing with storm sewer cost of the preliminary report for Project 1971 -1, and a revised preliminary report and cost estimate of the sanitary sewer, water and street for Project 1968 -5 dealing with the extension of Knollwood Drive from Ardan Avenue to County Road J and Ardan Avenue from Groveland Road to Spring Lake Road. (1973 -4) 4 Ayes Mayor Neisen's Report Mayor Neisen read a letter from the St. Paul Association for Retarded Children thanking the Village for their $150.00 contribution to the Roseville Day Camp. Mr. Glen Dawson, Chairman of the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission notified the Council that they have created Amendment #2 to the Police Commission Rules and
