MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To request the Police Civil Service Commission to certify
applicants to the Village Council for the position of Juvenile Sergeant, and to set
the salary for juvenile sergeant at $50.00 per month over top patrolman effective
January 1, 19 73 .

MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To approve the following licenses: Cement - Gjerstad
Masonry; Garbage /Rubbish Hauler - All -State Disposal Service, Atlas Disposal Service,
Inc., Suburban Pickup Service, Inc., Modern Services, Inc., Banks Sanitation;
General Contractor - Andrew Krutzig Builders; Plaster /Stucco - Rohlf Stucco Co.
MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To approve the following bills: General Fund checks #7135
through 7168, Payroll checks #202 through 230, Payroll Account checks #1009 and
#1010 and check #7169 transferring $9,792.69 to the Payroll Account to pay the gross
pay of March 30th, ($8,065.93 from General Fund, $949.50 from Water Utility and
$777.26 from Sewer Utility).

MSP (Johnson- Hodges) To approve the final plat of DeGardner Second Addition subject
to changing the spelling of Arden Avenue to Ardan Avenue and to authorize the Clerk
to sign it. 4 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To adopt Resolution #597 apportioning the assessments on
Division #46164. 4 Ayes
MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To adopt Resolution #598 approving the Sixth Rider to the
Agreement Between the Board of Water Commissioners and the Village of Mounds View
and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to sign the agreement.
Clerk Zylia announced that he has received a proposal establishing a Metropolitan
Rate Authority for electric rates. He referred copies of part of the contents of the
proposal to the Council and requested that the Council give consideration to joining
into a joint powers agreement establishing the Metropolitan Rate Authority.
The total rate authority proposal was given to Attorney Meyers for his review.

Councilman Hodges'Report:
MSP (Neisen- Baumgartner) To allow the use of a Civil Defense truck by the Mounds View
Lions Club for the April Easter egg hunt. 4 Ayes
Councilman Johnson's Report
After some discussion about the poor garbage pick up of J & W Service, including
Sunday morning pick up, the Council requested the Clerk to notify J & W to appear at
the next Council meeting.

Councilman Baumgartner read portions of the Recreation Commission minutes of March
22, 1973.
