Original motion then passed on a vote of 5 Ayes,
Councilman Pickar announced that May 14 through 20th would be National Guard
week and that the Mayor would be receiving a proclamation.
Council directed the Clerk to send a letter to the gas company instructing them
that gas meters are not to be installed until approval of the building inspector
has been granted.

Attorney Meyers' Report
MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To adopt Ordinance #202 amending Chapter 100 entitled
"Intoxicatipg Liquor!! increasing the liquor license fee to $3,800.00 per year
and regulating lingerie shows. 4 Ayes

Engineer Bearden's Report
MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To approve relocation of a drainage ditch on the T.M.
Wilmus property north of County Road H2 and west of Long Lake Road subject to
the proper transfer of easements and approval from Ramsey County. 5 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To refer the file of Birkeland, Weidemann, and Birchem
to the Village Attorney for his recommendation. The matter pertains to a
subdivision which was approved for Lot 4 and 5 Birkeland Addition in 1969.
Deeds were not filed transferring the property, building permits were issued
assuming the property was transferred, and now Mr. Birkeland is refusing to
execute the transfer as was originally approved.
