HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000032_pg085Councilman Baumgartner's Report The Mayor and Councilman Baumgartner received a check from the Mounds View Jaycees presented by Mr. Tom Dougherty to be used by the Park and Recreation Department. Councilman Baumgartner read portions of the Recreation Commission minutes of August 16th and 23rd. MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To direct the Engineer to prepare grading plans for Woodcrest Park and Greenfield Park and to pay for the plans through the use of revenue sharing funds. Councilman Baumgartner received an estimated completion date of two weeks for the Greenfield Park grading plan. Councilman Baumgartner read the Planning Commission minutes of August 22, 1973. Motion to approve the preliminary plat of JR0 Estates was withdrawn. The Clerk was asked to invite a representative for JRO Estates and Korsgaden Addition to the agenda meeting to discuss the possibility of a drainage problem on their lots. MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To set a hearing to consider rescinding the action of the Village Council dated March 12th in which the Council moved to rezone property from R1 to B3 for Louis Gydeson to construct an Anchor Inn. The property is south of County Road H2 bordered on the West by Edgewood Drive and on the East by Greenfield Avenue. The hearing is to be scheduled for 8:30 P.M. September 24, 1973. Councilman Pickar's Report Councilman Pickar reported on the Lakeside Park Commissions August meeting. On questions about the $2,000.00 contribution to Lakeside Park made by Anoka County, the Clerk was instructed to inquire from Ramsey County the possibility of contributing a like amount to Lakeside Park. Attorney Meyers' Report Attorney Meyers stated that he is still holding in his file the easement relative to the Gulf Station on Highway Avenue and the Willmus Construction Company easement relocation relative to Scotland Green Apartments.
