Mr. Walijarvi replied that all of the services enumerated by the Attorney would be provided for $1,500.00 or less including attendance at any bond or public meetings. MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To direct the Attorney to formulate a letter to be sent to Mr. Walijarvi in which he endorses the services enumerated by the Attorney and pro- viding that when the letter has been received by the Village that the architectural contract may be entered into by the proper Village officials. 5 Ayes MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To cancel the rezoning hearing scheduled for September 24, 1973 at 8:30 P.M. which was set to rescind the rezoning granted to Louis Gydeson to construct an Anchor Inn originally passed on March 12, 1973, based on the fact that Mr. Gydeson plans on commencing construction in October. 5 Ayes MSP (Pickar- Hodges) To grant conditional approval of a building permit to Louis Gydeson to construct an Anchor Inn on the property south of County Road H2 between Edgewood Drive and Greenfield Avenue subject to the approval of the Village inspector and the fire chief, payment of the building permit fee, and subject to the relocation of a drainage pipe at the owner's expense with work to be done under the supervision of the Village inspector. 5 Ayes MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To set a hearing to vacate the existing drainage easement subject to receiving a new easement on the Anchor Inn property, provided the hearing is necessary, for October 9, 1973 at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes Mayor Neisen's Report Mayor Neisen announced that filing for the November 6th election will open on September 25th and that he intends to file for the office of Mayor. MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To approve the final plat of Korsgaden Addition and to authorize the Clerk to sign it subject to the conditions set forth in the minutes of September 10, 1973. 5 Ayes Clerk- Administrator Zylla's Report MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) To approve the licenses: Asphalt - Blacktop Paving; Cigarette - A. A. Standard Station, A. A. Standard Grocery; General Contractor - Ducharme Fence Co., Statewide Contractors Inc., D. F. Vizecky Const. Co., Take Paine's Const.; Heating - Better Burner Service; Sewer & Water - Homer's Sewer Service; Non - Intoxicating Off Sale - A. A. Standard Grocery. 5 Ayes MSP (Pickar- Hodges) To approve the bills: General Fund checks #7695 through #7741, Payroll Account checks #1044 through #1046, Payroll checks #547 through #574, and transfer check #7742 transferring $10,516.52 to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay of September 28, 1973. From General - $8,379.69, from Water - $1,427.33, from Sewer - $709.50. Total disbursements $23,909.41. 5 Ayes Clerk Zylla read a letter from William Biem of P.B.K. Investment Company requesting a change in the assessments levied in the Mounds View Industrial Park on July 23, 1973. Council asked the Clerk to invite Mr. Biem to the next regular Council meeting.
