CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
A Special Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor
Neisen at 7:02 P.M. on January 2, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway
#10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112.
Present:

Councilman Hodges
Councilman Baumgartner
Councilman Johnson
Councilman Pickar
Also Present:
Clerk- Administrator Zylla
MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To appoint the First State Bank of New Brighton the official
depository, the New Brighton Bulletin as the legal newspaper, and Donald Hodges
as acting mayor in 1974.
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To adopt the 1974 salary schedule for administrative,
supervisory, and hourly personnel -
Clerk - Administrator
Police Chief
Police Captain
Police Sergeant
Building Inspector
1 Utility Account Clerk
2 Administrative Secretary
1 Clerk Typist
$1,412.00 per month
$1,338.00 per month
$1,174.00 per month
$1,139.00 per month
$1,124.00 per month
$ 3.75 per hour
$ 3.40 per hour
$ 3,10 per hour
MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To provide that effective January 1, 1975 the salary
differential between patrolmen and sergeant be increased from $50.00 per month
to $75.00 per month and effective January 1, 1976 increased from $75.00 per month
to $100.00 per month. This change to reflect a corresponding increase in the
salary of the police captain.

Standard, Donatelle's Supper Club, Fedor's Market, Tom Thumb Superette (County Road
I), Tom Thumb Superette (Knollwood Drive), A. A. Standard Grocery; Gasoline Station -
A, A. Standard; Non - Intox. Off -Sale Liquor - Fedor's Market, Tom Thumb Superette
(County Road 1), Tom Thumb Superette (Knollwood Drive), A. A. Standard Grocery. 5 Ayes
