MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To set a hearing to consider the issuance of a
special use permit for a motor freight terminal in the Mounds View Industrial
Park for Smiths Transfer Corps. on eight acres for February 11th at 8:30 P.M. 5 Ayes
MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To approve the subdivision request for Vern Sinderson
to subdivide Auditor's Subdivision #89, subject to road, Lot 46 except the South
276 feet thereof into three lots as specified on the survey dated August 22,
1973 subject to a dedication of 30 feet for a future street on the west of the
property. 5 Ayes
MSP (Baumgartner - Hodges) To approve the subdivision request of Gene Schouweiler
to subdivide lot 45 Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition into the west 140 feet and
the east 179 feet subject to a 30 foot road easement dedication on the west 140
feet and subject to payment of additional assessments on the east 110 feet of
the west 140 feet. 5 Ayes
Councilman Baumgartner read the Recreation Commission minutes of January 24th.
He acknowledged that Douglas Bryant did accept the position of Park and
Recreation Director for the City of Mounds View effective March 1st and that
there may be two openings soon on the Park and Recreation Commission as a result
of changing the structure of the Commission removing councilmen from serving
on it directly.
Councilman Pickar's Report
Councilman Pickar announced that in attendance this evening was Mr. Mike Daley
a prospective candidate for an opening on the Mounds View Human Rights
Commission.
Attorney Meyers' Report
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) Receiving a memorandum from Attorney Meyers relative to
the request of James Schlichtmann for severance pay and to forward a copy of
the memo to Mr. Schlichtmann's attorney.
MSP (Hodges- Baumgartner) To adopt Ordinance No. 207 forbidding the issuance
of an off -sale license from any premise where an on -sale intoxicating license
has been issued effective January 1, 1975.
MSP (Pickar - Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 208 establishing a separate
Park and Playground fund.
MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) To adjourn at 10:03 P.M.
