A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by
Mayor Neisen at 8:00 P.M., on February 25, 1974 at the Mounds View City
Hall, 2401 Highway #10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112.

Councilman Johnson
Councilman Pickar

MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To approve the minutes of February 11, 1974. 4 Ayes

Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor
With a few residents in the audience from the 8200 block of Spring Lake Road,
Engineer Bearden commented on the proposed location of the sewer main which
must extend from proposed Pleasant View to Spring Lake Road, (Project 1973 -4).
It appeared that the routing of the main just south of 8248 Spring Lake Road
was satisfactory to those in attendance.
Mayor Neisen's Report
Mayor Neisen commented on a letter received from the League of Women Voters in
which they thanked the Council for hiring a park and recreation director.
Administrator Zylla's Report
MSP (Pickar- Johnson) To approve the licenses: Sewer & Water - Roseville
Plumbing; Peddler & Solicitor - Wilmur L. Menke. 5 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To approve the bills: General Fund checks #8245 thru #8276,
Payroll Account checks #1073 & #1074, Payroll checks #874 thru #914, Transfer
check #8277 transferring $12,717.74 to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay
of February 28, 1974. From General - $11,000.12, from Water - $948.52, from
Sewer - $769.10. Total disbursements - $25,202.42. 5 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To approve Ordinance #209 adding Chapter 7 to the Municipal
Code defining the duties and qualifications of the Public Works Superintendent.

Administrator Zylla announced that the fire department would be conducting the
fire flow test for the Harstad Townhouses on March 1, at 2:00 P.M.
