A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor
Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on March 11, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway
#10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112.

Councilman Hodges
Councilman Baumgartner
Councilman Johnson
Councilman Pickar

Engineer Bearden
MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To approve the subdivision request of Donovan Wendt to
subdivide Spring Lake Park Knolls Addition Lot 82 and 81 except therefrom the
south 38 feet, into except the west 130 feet thereof, thereby creating a lot
90 feet with a 40 foot easement subject to an agreement between Mr. Wendt and
Attorney Meyers on the value of ten feet of the 40 foot easement, and subject
to Council ratification.
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To set a special meeting for 7:00 P.M., March 18th, to
ratify the above mentioned agreement between Mr. Wendt and Attorney Meyers,
and if there is no agreement, then to cancel the meeting automatically.

Mayor Neisen's Report
Mayor Neisen read a letter of resignation from police officer, Wayne Thompson.
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To accept the resignation of Wayne Thompson effective March
15, 1974. 5 Ayes
MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of the special meeting to consider
the addition and alteration to the municipal building of February 25, 1974. 5 Ayes
MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To approve the minutes of the regular meeting of
February 25th, and the special meeting to consider the motor freight terminal
special use permit for Smith Transfer Corporation.
Mr. Robert Eibensteiner, appeared to request the vacation of five feet of a twenty
(20) foot easement for sanitary sewer in order to build a $51,000.00 home on
Lot 40, Block 1, Red Oak Estates No. 2. The sewer main was originally constructed
between the time the preliminary plat and the final plat for Red Oak Estates No.
2 was approved. Instead of the easement being 1/2 on Lot 40 and 1/2 on Lot 39,
the entire easement ended up on Lot 40.

MSP (Neisen- Baumgartner) To set a hearing to vacate the east five feet of the
twenty (20) foot sanitary sewer easement located on Lot 40, Block 1, Red Oak
Estates No. 2 for March 25th at 8:30 P.M. with the condition that the house
footings adjacent to the easement be of a depth equal to the sanitary sewer, and
that the builder proceeds in construction at his own risk. 5 Ayes
