MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To authorize the purchase of two IBM Selectric typewriters at a cost of $621.00 each. 5 Ayes MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To authorize the hiring of an additional police patrolman effective September 1 and to notify the Police Civil Service Commission to provide a certification of three individuals to the Council by August 1, 1974. MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To adopt Resolution No. 629 apportioning the assessments on Division #48326. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes Administrator Zylla acknowledged the receipt of $20.65 from the League of Women Voters to repair the City's mimeograph machine. The League will use their own paper and pay $15.00 per year to the City for ink and be allowed to use the machine whenever necessary. The first payment due for ink will be effective January 1, 1975. Administrator Zylla stated that the Metro Sewer Board has approved the sewer user charge system as submitted by the City and the City is now in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency's User Charge Regulation. MSP (Johnson- Hodges) To authorize the installation of a street light on the southwest corner of the property at 2848 County Road H2. 5 Ayes Administrator Zylla stated that the newsletter will be coming out on about June 22, 1974. Included will be an article explaining the diseased tree program. He informed the Council that a ground survey in connection with the disease control program will commence next week and all diseased trees will be painted with a yellow dot at about eye level. Councilman Johnson's Report Councilman Johnson said that he had attended the last North Suburban Sewer Advisory Board meeting. The Board has recommended that the Lino Lakes - Centerville interceptor proposed the last few years be a gravity line instead of lift stations. MSP (Johnson - Baumgartner) To set a hearing for 9:00 P.M., July 22, 1974 to consider the formulation of regulations to control the parking of commercial vehicles in residential areas. 3 Ayes Neisen Naye Hodges Naye Councilman Baumgartner's Report MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To approve the subdivision request of Naomi Eastman to subdivide Unplatted Lands, Section 6, the north 101.51 feet of the south 2632.5 feet of west 528 feet of the northeast quarter into two (2) lots as recommended by the Planning Commission creating two (2) lots 192 feet and 306 feet deep respectively. 5 Ayes MSP (Johnson - Pickar) To approve the subdivision request of Eric Johnson to subdivide Unplatted Lands, Section 6, North 240 feet of the South 405 feet of East 264 feet of West 528 feet of the NE quarter into (2) lots 90 feet by 264 feet and 150 feet by 264 feet. 5 Ayes
