to the enactment of Ordinance No. 216 be required to dedicate cash or land as
dictated by the terms of the amended ordinance.
A motion and second to direct the preparation of an Ordinance clarifying that fences
be installed up to the lot line, that they be no more than 42 inches in the front
yard and have 90% visibility on corner lots were withdrawn in order that the Council
may have more time to familiarize themselves with the issue. Copies of fence
ordinances of other municipalities were requested.
Attorney Meyers' Report
The Council received a copy of proposed Chapter 93 to the Municipal Code entitled
the Public Health Housing Code. Action is expected at the following meeting.

MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To adopt Resolution No. 630, directing the City Attorney to
proceed with condemnation procedures for Improvement Project 1973 -4. 5 Ayes
MSP (Baumgartner- Johnson) To adopt Ordinance No. 214 amending Chapter 39 deleting
the requirements for sign maintenance permits. 5 Ayes
MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To adopt Ordinance No. 215 increasing the size of garbage
containers from ten gallons to 30 gallons. 5 Ayes
MSP (Pickar - Neisen) To adopt Ordinance No. 216 amending Chapter 42.07 providing
that a credit for cash or land dedication for parks will be given only for the
existing single family dwelling unit parcel.
