CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A Regular Meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor
Neisen at 8:00 P.M. on June 24, 1974 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway
#10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112.

MSP ( Pickar- Hodges) To approve the minutes of June 10, 1974,
Residents Requests and Comments from the Floor
MSP (Hodges - Baumgartner) To allow Louis Gydesen, owner of the Anchor Inn to
amend his previously approved construction plans to eliminate the interior
curbing on his lot and substituting an added landscaping treatment of trees
and shrubs.
MSP (Hodges - Pickar) To approve the on sale intoxicating liquor license for
Albert and Joseph Hartinger for 90 days effective July 1, 1974 subject to them
reappearing on August 12, 1974 with a decision as to whether or not they will
install a fence and curbing along their property line on County Road H2.
The Council requested the fence to eliminate the eyesore caused by the barrels
and the problem with blowing paper onto single family dwellings north of County
Road H2.

MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To receive the preliminary architectual plans (dated 6/21/
74) for the Mounds View City Hall addition and remodeling from Kenneth Walijarvi,
and to order the project, 4 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Baumgartner) To set a bid opening for the City Hall addition and
remodeling for August 5th at 2 o'clock P.M. 4 Ayes
MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To set a special meeting for August 5th at 7:30 P.M. to
consider awarding the bid for the City Hall addition and remodeling. 4 Ayes
Mayor Neisen's Report
MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To appoint Councilman Baumgartner to head the parks
department, Councilmen Hodges and Johnson to head the office, Councilman Pickar
to head the Public Works department and Mayor Neisen to head the police depart-
ment during the absence of a City Administrator. 4 Ayes
