Councilman Baumgartner stated that the letter gave no definite indication of when the County expected to complete its study of the problem. Mayor Neisen read the Police Report for September. Administrator Achen's Report MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To approve the licenses: Heating - J. D. Refrigeration; General Contractor - G & K Builders. 5 Ayes MSP (Neisen - Hodges) To approve the bills: General Fund Check No. 9131 thru 9237, Payroll Account Checks No. 1119 thru 1125, Transfer Check No. 9134 transferring $17,000.00 to Revenue Sharing from the Park Fund to pay for Minor property; Check No. 9135 transferring $24,000.00 to Project 1973 -4 from the Revolving Fund to pay Fulwider and Hemsworth properties; Transfer Check No. 9136 transferring $12,476.25 to the Payroll Account to pay gross pay of October 15, 1974. From General - $10,050.54, from Water - $1,143.38, from Sewer - $1,282.33; Payroll Checks No. 1392 thru 1421. Total Disburse- ments $174,132.35. 5 Ayes MSP (Pickax- Baumgartner) To amend the original motion to approve the bills to hold Check No. 9213 pending verification that the architect and the city both have received copies of soil tests run for the city hall addition. 5 Ayes MSP (Neisen- Johnson) To approve appointment of Gary Kardell as a regular full -time employee effective November 1, 1974, on the recommendation of the public works superintendent. 5Ayes MSP (Neisen- Hodges) To approve the appointments of recreation program leaders as recommended by the park and recreation director. 5 Ayes MSP (Neisen- Pickar) To approve the appointment of Jeannine McDonald to the position of administrative secretary on the recommendation of the clerk - administrator and specifying a salary of $3.10 /hour for the first three months $3.30 /hour for the fourth through sixth months, and $3.50 /hour upon completion of the probationary period. 5 Ayes MSP (Hodges- Johnson) To hire the firm of George M. Hansen Company to conduct the 1974 city audit at the estimated fee of $3400 to $3600. MSP (Neisen - Pickar) To appoint the clerk- administrator as the city's fuel coordinator and to so inform the State Energy Agency. MSP (Neisen - Baumgartner) To change the date of the Council's first regular meeting in November to Tuesday the 12th because Veteran's Day falls on the second Monday.
