HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000036_pg001SPECIAL MEETING City of Mounds View County of Ramsey A special meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Neisen at 6:35 p.m., on Thursday, January 2, 1975 at the Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Mn. 55112 Present: Mayor Neisen Councilman Hodges Councilman Baumgartner Councilman Johnson Councilman Picakr Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Achen Mayor Neisen administered oath of office of councilman to Donald C. Hodges and Roger W. Baumgartner. MSP ( Neisen- Johnson) To appoint Councilman Hodges as acting mayor until a new mayor is appointed. 5 Ayes Mayor Neisen turned the meeting over to acting Mayor Hodges at 6:30 p.m. and officially resigned from office as Mayor of Mounds View. MSP (Pickar- Johnson) To appoint the New Brighton Bulletin the city's legal newspaper for 1975. MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) To appoint the First State Bank of New Brighton the city's official depository for 1975. 4 Ayes 4 Ayes Councilman Pickar stated that the Lakeside Park Commission requests an increase in the number of commission members from seven to nine. This would mean Mounds View would have to appoint another citizen member. Acting Mayor Hodges directed the administrator to contact the City of Spring Lake Park and find out what they plan to do and also to determine whether this change will require an amendment to Mounds View city code.
