Administrator Achen presented the proposed agreement with the State for
the installation of signal lights at County Roads I and H2 at Highway 10.
Engineer Bearden explained the formula used by the State in determining
the cost of the signals. Where there are two state or two county legs as
the case is on County Road I and Highway 10, the agreement between the
State and County is that the State requests the County to pay for relamping,
painting of lights and power. The County in turn is trying to transfer
some of the cost to the local communities such as Mounds View.
Councilman Baumgartner asked what the cost would be if we have to bring
the utility service to the lights.
