MSP (Johnson - Shelquist) to instruct the administrator to review the ordinance section on minor subdivisions and come up with some alternative in terms of wording and inserting that a survey be required when submitting a minor subdivision to the Planning Commission and before it goes to Council for approval. 5 Ayes Councilman Shelquist noted the minutes of January 27th requesting a recording secretary at the Planning Commission meeting. Mayor Johnson directed the administrator to investigate the possibility of hiring someone to record Planning Commission minutes. Councilman Baumgartner's Report Councilman Baumgartner reported that at the Park and Recreation meeting January 9th Luverne Peterson was elected as chairman and Wayne Burmeister, vice chairman. Thursday, March 6th is the next meeting. Councilman Pickar's Report Councilman Pickar announced the Silver Skates Competition to beheld February 23rd at Lakeside Park. Attorney Meyers' Report Attorney Meyers commented on the potential claims for water and sewer backups and insurance claims rejected by our insurance company. He suggests establishing a claims committee to periodically review these claims. He commented on the request of PBK Investment Company to make torrens property of the Mounds View Industrial Park. Council will have to file a cross application to protect the City of Mounds View. This will have no adverse on our interest. MSP (Hodges - Pickar) to sign the cross application regarding the registration of property known as Mounds View Industrial Park. 5 Ayes Engineer Bearden's Report Engineer Bearden stated NPDES permits for our water treatment plant should be given to the Public Works department. Permit for Plant No. 1 delays the date for completion of construction to June 30, 1976. The water extension to JR0 Estates will add approximately $1700 to Project 1973 -4 to bring sewer 25 feet into the property. Councilmen were in favor of the extension to get service to the lots. Mayor Johnson instructed the engineer to inform contractor to extend service into the lot. Engineer Bearden presented a preliminary study to extend Knollwood south of Ardan Avenue.
