HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000036_pg042Page 5 March 10, 1975 Councilman Baumgartner's Report Councilman Baumgartner reported the next Park and Recreation Commission meeting is scheduled for March 27, 1975 at the City hall, not Pinewood School. Councilman Pickar's Report Councilman Pickar reported that the Lakeside Park Commission will meet on March 13. The Human Rights Commission meets March 26 at the Mounds View city hall. He asked that these groups be included in the Public meetings attached to the agenda. Attorney Meyers' Report Attorney Meyers explained the Planning Commission's role as a Board of Appeals in dealing with variances. Attorney Meyers commented on the subject of city registration of snow- mobiles. Minnesota statues states no political subdivision shall require licensing or registration of snowmobiles nor can they require drivers licenses for snowmobile operators. Attorney Meyers reported on the condemnation of Parcel 84 owned by Otas Newton. MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) to adopt Resolution No. 668 allowing Otas Newton to have a non - conforming use of his property. 4 Ayes Engineer Bearden's Report Engineer Bearden reported that he has requested an indication from the Planning Commission of what kind of variances and lot splits they will accept so he could get an idea for placement of sewer service lines which will be going in next month. He has not received a reply from the Planning Commission yet. Engineer Bearden said that plans for placement of additional fill from Project 1973 -4 should be made soon. Administrator Achen will refer this matter to the Park Director. Mr. Frank Gaybrysh, 2832 County Road J, asked when lots would be for sale in the Project 1973 -4 area. Engineer Bearden said the contractor will be done by October and may finish in July 1975.
