Total disbursements $103,457.98. MSP (Pickar- Hodges) to approve the licenses: refrigeration - Carlson Store Fixture Company; heating - Snelling Company; cabaret - Mermaid Lounge, Inc. 5 Ayes 5 Ayes Administrator Achen announced the resignation of Jeannine McDonald effective May 9, 1975. Mayor Johnson accepted Mrs. McDonald's resignation and ex- tended her thanks for her contribution to the city and wished her well. Administrator Achen reported that sealcoating a section of the city would be started this summer, dividing the city into five sections. Administrator Achen requested Council to order the engineer to prepare plans and specifi- cations for sealcoating one fifth of the city to be determined by the public works director and engineer based on the area that needs it most. Engineer Bearden stated that sealcoating was planned sections. The first and third were done in 1971 but was not followed. Administrator Achen said $10,000 was budgeted in 1974 sealcoating but none in 1975. to be done in three the three year plan for the purpose of Attorney Meyers looked at it as a major capital improvement program. Mayor Johnson stated Council would be looking into a capital improvement program at agenda meetings. MSP (Hodges - Pickar) to direct the engineer to draw specifications and plans for sealcoating 1/5 of the city. Mayor Johnson said special attention should be given Councilman Hodges' Report Councilman Hodges asked about the chipper. Mayor Johnson stated City Clean Up Day was May 3rd. May 10th we had a chipper operation with the Jaycee's. One full day with two chippers is still left to do. These will be chipped one way or the other, but he did not know if any more volunteers will be available. to crack filling. 5 Ayes Councilman Hodges said he had been looking at Mounds View Square and the Mermaid Lounge and doesn't feel drainage plans presented by Rice Creek
