Administrator Achen reported the Metro Council population estimate for 1974 at 12,943.
He reported that Revenue Sharing. estimated our population at 11,212. He said the
ORS figure was challenged but they would not accept the Metro Council figure. The
latter is a factor in the City's levy limitation.
ATTORNEY MEYER'S REPORT
Attorney Meyers said George Brooks won his judgement against the City.
He was awarded $169.62 in conciliation court.
MSP (Johnson- Baumgartner) to authorize the administrator to write a check
to pay $169.62 to Mr. Brooks. 3 Ayes
Stnrise Methodist has applied for Rice Creek Watershed approval for filling
in the south end of their property and request permission from the City.
Councilman Baumgartner said two men from City of Mounds View worked one full
day at the park and one man from City of Spring Lake Park came out for one
half hour and did nothing but watch and left.
