MSP (Hodges - Pickar) to set the contract with M.A.P.S.I. 5 Ayes
Administrator Achen estimated that cost would be over $500.00
of budgeted amount based on their fees. This is not accounting
for additional revenue that may be generated. The firm estimates
that we could keep within the budget figure by trimming hours
of patrol in November and December.
Administrator Achen said M.A.P.S.I. thought we did not need
more than two hours per day for patrolling.

MSP (Johnson - Hodges) to monitor the animal patrol services and
by November and December to balance the budget. 5 Ayes
Administrator Achen presented proposed Chapter 59 of Municipal
Code entitled Building Permits and Fees.
Council felt they would like time to study the Chapter at the
next agenda meeting so Mayor Johnson tabled the matter until
the next Council meeting.
Mayor Johnson announced the award of contract for sealcoating
Project 1975 -2 to Bituminous Roadways at $29,294.00.
MSP (Pickar- Hodges) to accept the bid from Bituminous Roadways. 5 Ayes
Councilman Pickar asked if Lakeside Park could be added on this
contract.
Engineer Bearden said they could negotiate with the contractor.
Councilman Baumgartner suggested that it be added by change order.
Engineer Bearden presented and read the specifications on repair
of Well House #2.
MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) to receive the specifications for Well
House #2 that advertisement be placed for bids in the city newspaper
and that the bid opening be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, August 11, 1975.

Mayor Johnson called for preparation of plans and specifications for
dehumidifier installation in Water Treatment Plant #1 and asked for
Council's comments and recommendations.
Councilman Baumgartner felt they should find out how much the repair
house #2 is going to cost and proceed from there.
Councilman Hodges, Councilman Pickar and Councilman Shelquist agreed.
Mayor Johnson tabled the matter until further information is received
on the cost of repairing Well House #2.
Mayor Johnson announced the appointment of police patrolman from
Mounds View Civil Service Commission list of certified applicants.
