HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000038_pg229PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Johnson on November 24, 1975, at 8:04 p.m., at Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112. Present: Mayor Johnson Councilman Hodges Councilman Baumgartner Councilman Pickar Councilman Shelquist Also present: Clerk - Admin. Achen Attorney Meyers Engineer Bearden CITIZENS' COMMENTS AND REQUESTS FROM THE FLOOR Mr. Gene Schouweiler, 3017 Bronson, inquired as to whether his check for a refund was available and also if his request for a lot split was on the agenda. Mayor Johnson stated that, yes, his check was prepared and his lot split request was on the agenda. Frank Gabrysch, 2832 County Rd. J,inquired regarding the Blaine drainage system. Mayor Johnson replied that we have agreed to support it and if it be approved, we shall be included on it. The Mayor asked Mr. Gabrysch if he had done anything about the ticket he had received, as mentioned in last month's minutes; and Mr. Gabrysch said that he has not spoken to the policeman yet as their hours conflict, but that he has gotten much of it cleaned up. Mayor Johnson asked for the approval of the minutes for November 10, 1975. Councilman Baumgartner requested that, on page 9, the words "Park and Recreation" after the words "that the" and before the word "sign" be stricken. MSP (Shelquist- Baumgartner) to approve the minutes of November 10, 1975, Council meeting, as corrected. 5 ayes Mayor Johnson presented the Gene Schouweiler request for a minor subdivision at 8265 Eastwood Road, stating that the Planning Commission had moved to approve the subdivision into two equal lots (101.51 x 236.53) and that this motion had carried and was forwarded to the Council. The Mayor asked for Mr. Shelquist's opinion. Councilman Shelquist stated that he was unable to attend the last Planning Commission meeting but Administrator Achen said that it was a routine minor subdivision with no drainage problems or assessments required. MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) that the Council approve the minor subdivision request of Gene Schouweiler for the property located at 8265 Eastwood Road into two equal lots (101.51 x 236.53). 5 ayes
