Attorney Meyers replied that it was for a transcript of a trial in the Municipal Court of Maplewood that we needed. Christopher Columbus is a court reporter. Blaine, MN 55434 Cement Masonry - new Chas. Wallace Cement Co. 3417 - 142nd Ave. N.W. Anoka, MN 55303 Transient Merchant - renewal - to sell Christmas trees Denny Erickson (1 month) 2167 Terrace Drive Mounds View, MN 55112 Delores Saunders (6 months) renewal - to sell paintings Box 206 on velvet Wyoming, MN 55092 It was explained that Mr. Erickson's application was for the sale of Christmas trees in the Mermaid Supper Club lot and Ms. Saunders' was for the sale of painting on velvet and statues. Mayor Johnson stated that he felt that it was unfair to the merchants who are spending money on their stores to have somebody move in and camp and sell the same things (referring to Ms. Saunders). He further stated that the Jaycees plan to sell Christmas wreaths the Saturday after Thanksgiving and the following Saturday, and that they should be properly chastized as they did not apply for a license in time. Mayor Johnson submitted an application on their behalf allowing them to sell the Christmas wreaths those two Saturdays. MSP (Baumgartner- Hodges) that we waive the fee for the Mounds View Jaycees for their license to sell and that we approve their license. 4 ayes Abstain - Johnson
