It was explained to him that the words "in operation" took care of that problem, as you are not operating your snowmobile if it is in tow. Mayor Johnson moved to amend Ordinance #239, Section 202.02 as follows: In the 3rd sentence insert a period after the word "use" and insert: "No persons shall operate a snowmobile on any privately owned property or an improved boulevard unless they have received the permission from the property owner, occupant or lessee." This motion was seconded by Councilman Baumgartner. Jack Warren, 5330 Quincy St., stated that snowmobiles give way to all other vehicles on the street and that he thought that this was as it should be. It was explained to him that this was still in the ordinance. A roll call vote was requested on the amendment. Councilman Shelquist - aye Councilman Pickar - aye Councilman Baumgartner - aye The amendment carried. Councilman Hodges - aye Mayor Johnson- aye Councilman Shelquist moved to further amend the ordinance by proposing a change to Section 202.03, as follows: continuing on from the last sentence of the section, insert a comma and insert: "and on a city street between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 am and 7:00 am on all other days." This motion was seconded by Mayor Johnson. Councilman Baumgartner stated that this would mean that they:may have to transport their snowmobile from the trail to their home. Gary Sward stated that the Snowmobile Club is going to have people deputized to issue warrants. A roll call vote was requested on the amendment. Councilman Shelquist - aye Councilman Pickar - nay Councilman Baumgartner - nay The amendment failed. Councilman Hodges - nay Mayor Johnson - nay Mayor Johnson then stated that they would go back to the main motion, and requested a roll call vote on Ordinance #239, as amended. Councilman Shelquist - nay, as he was still having a problem Councilman Pickar - aye with the one section. Councilman Baumgartner - aye Councilman Hodges - aye Mayor Johnson - aye Motion carried. Kevin Track, 2456 County Rd. H., asked regarding county roads and Norm Ecklund said that the county has printed a list of county roads and suggested getting copies of it to pass out with copies of the ordinance. He also stated that Roy Anderman is the new president
