Administrator Achen read the Licenses for Approval as of December 22,
1975, (attached). He explained that Minnesota Exteriors, Inc. has
problems. It was found starting a job without a permit and the
inspector has found their work to be unsatisfactory. Staff recommends
that the license not be approved or that approval be postponed until
the contractor can be called before the Council for an interview to
determine whether the license should be issued or not. He further
stated that the license application for Bill & Ed's Auto is to sell
used cars. The police have warned him many times about the junked
and unlicensed vehicles on his property. There are vehicles parked
on the right of way and he has been notified of this and has not met
the deadline. The staff recommends that this renewal also be withheld
pending further handling of the matter.
