HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000039_pg005Administrator's Report -3- January 9, 1976 must respond within 15 days indicating whether they will accept arbitration. Sentiment of most cities seems to be against binding arbitration. If union request is rejected, a strike would be legal. Labor consultant estimates that if strike is to occur, March 1st is his estimate. Apparently, the employees of about one third of the involved cities are expected to support a strike, so the possibility of such is anybody's guess. Staff is currently preparing strike contingency plans for Council consideration. 4. Have received some input from residents regarding improvement of Pleasant View Drive with the City of Fridley. General sentiment appears to be in opposition if residents must be assessed. Expect more thorough results in next week or two. 5. Enclosed is location map of Banister Short installed observation wells (piezometers). 6.
