COUNCILMAN SHELQUIST'S REPORT:
There is a special meeting with the Planning Commission to
go over the zoning ordinance Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Further,
in discussing the concept of a maintenance contract with regard
to maintaining property after construction, what hold do we have
on a developer if we release his bond. He would like this problem
resolved before the Mermaid has a contract. Administrator Achen
replied that you have a hold where you have a license on the
individual or business. Attorney Meyers stated that it should be
put into the contract that he agrees to maintain, and the city
has the right to assess for maintenance.
