Councilman Shelquist stated that at the last council meeting, just following
the bicentennial celebration, the Council did not make any mention of
appreciation to the community celebration couuuittee. Councilman Shelquist
stated that he would like to personally extend his thanks to Gordon Zebarth,
Chairman, and also the other members. Administrator Achen stated that a
letter was sent out.
Mayor Pickar stated that the Association of Metro Municipalities, which
Mounds View has not joined yet, will be holding another meeting. Mayor
Pickar stated that he would attend this meeting. Discussion of their
attendance records.
Mayor Pickar stated that he felt the "Get Out & Vote" release would be a
good project for the League of Women Voters.
