to do this.
Mr. 3yam stated that the further the barrier is onto their property,
the less time the cars will have to turn off the highway. If the
wall is bent around on the edge of the property, it will cut down
noise to the trailer court and still give them visibility.
Mary Lou Pittman, 5372 Raymond Avenue, presented a petition to the
Council from the people on Raymond r\venue. If the 17 residents, 15
are opposed to the barrier. These houses over look the mobile home
park and the wall will not really lower the noise much because the
houses are higher than the mobile homes. "rs. Pittman stated that
she does not mind the noise and would like to see the cars.
mr. 1rlich stated that the harrier does provide the most protection for
the people that are the closest. There would not be too much protection
for the people in these houses. The residents on Raymond Avenue can
see the cars if they look i nbet "een the trailers and the wall would
cut off this view. "'r. Orlich stated that the Council will have to
decide between providing noise Protection or keeping the view
these residents. The wall will be about the same height as the mobile
homes.
