;r. ruong stated that they would really rather discharge the fireworks
outdoors and then move inside for the other activities. They hope to
have about R,^ ^O people at this celebration.
Councilmember 7iebarth stated that he would be concerned about where
the people will he in relationship to where the fireworks would he
discharged.
!ISP (Pickar- 7iebarth) to issue a permit for setting off firecrackers
and authorizing the celebration as requested with the provision that it
is approved by Fire Chief Fagerstrom prior to the final approval of the
permit.
Councilmember Rowley asked about the clean -up provisions. !lr. Bullion
explained that '?r. Jambors will have two off -duty policemen :at the
celebration and there will also be several people acting as "?aster of
Arms. There will he 1P volunteers to clean up the property.
Administrator Achen suggested that Chief rrahowski be informed about

Administrator Achen explained that fpper "7idwest rronotions no loner
wants to conduct the match on February 22nd because they couldn't
agree on the profits between the competitors. They are trying to
get some matches on TV so they won't be promoting any matches here
until late Spring. They have requested that the City draft an ordinance
for approval between no nwt and this spring.

"dministrator Achen reviewed the memo which he submitted to the Council
regarding this matter. He recommended that the Council ask the County
to come up with more specific language for Rill 13 that assures every-
one will interpret it the same way. He then reviewed the rest of the
bills. Administrator Achen recommended that the Council take a
position supporting, opposing or asking for further study or
nn- hfiCation on t'iese bills.
