Mayor Pickar asked if the Council members would have a chance to review their
resumes before the meeting. Councilmember Baumgartner replied that Administrator
Achen had all the available information on each candidate and that they could con-
tact him for this information.
Councilmember Baumgartner stated that the Planning Commission would be meeting at
7:30 PM on October 12 and that one of the items on the agenda was the discussion
of home occupations and the City ordinance governing it. He stated that the Planning
Commission would be reviewing it, clarifying it or redefining it and then making an
recommendation to the Council.
Councilmember Baumgartner reported that within the past two or three weeks, Northeast
Marine had moved into the building on the southwest corner of Highway 10 and Silver
Lake Road and that they wanted to put up a sign advertising that they were there,
but were told it would require Council approval.
Mayor Pickar replied that the owner should contact Steve Rose to find out the require-
ments of signs.
MAYOR PICKAR'S REPORT
Mayor Pickar asked Engineer Hubbard when Bauer's would be opening up their business.
Engineer Hubbard replied that he was not certain of the date but would check into it.
