APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA MSP (Rowley - Hodges) to approve the consent agenda as follows: 4 ayes ITEM A. Authorize mayor and clerk to execute the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program contract with the Metropolitan Council. This contract extends the existing contract, which expired May 31, 1977, until October 5, 1982. Presently twenty -three Mounds View residents are receiving rental assistance under this Program. ITEM B. Adopt Resolution Nos. 885 and 886 appointing the Commissioner of Transportation as the city's agent and authorizing the mayor and clerk to execute a technical and engineering assistance agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation. These Council actions are taken . annually to continue city participation in the Municipal State Aid (M.S.A.) program for designated city streets. ITEM C. Set a public hearing for 7:40 PM, Monday, February 27, 1978, on the Gale Addition preliminary plat for the development of five single family dwellings. ITEM D. Adopt Resolution No. 887 requesting that the League of 'Minnesota Cities award two bocce ball sets to the city as part of the Governor's program to make this sport available to all Minnesotans. ITEM E. Appoint Councilmembers Baumgartner and Rowley as the city's official delegates and Administrator Achen as the . alternate delegate to the Ramsey County League of Local Governments. Appoint Councilmembers Pickar and Baumgartner as the city's official delegate and alternate, respectively, to the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. ITEM F. Appoint Margaret A. Long, senior accounting clerk, as a regular full -time employee having successfully completed the required probationary period.
