hound s View has a substantial amount of vacant land which could be considered
for th Ramsay County Open Space System. If properly constructed, the greenwaye
mould solve some critical drainage problems. It should be understood that green-
ways with overland drainage would not take the place of a complete storm glower
system., but they would .take the place of espensive otore- sewer trunk lines. Catch
basins and lateral lines would have to be installed by the Village to pick up run-4
02f from outside areas and direct thee to the greenwaye.. This plan results in. th*
;:luat economical way to solve Hounds View's drainage problem*.
The pro9osed Ramsey County On Space System is compoeed of special use
a:Oa st linked together into a lineal system by parkways and drainage wey. It la
intsnclad that hiking and bicycle paths would be provided- to permit people to move
from one special use area to another. Village Parks c be integrated into tha.
