The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of
routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council.
The entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The
motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous
approval. By request of any individual Council Member, any item
can be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular
agenda for debate.
ITEM A. Schedule a Council work session for 7:00 PM Thursday,
December 14, 1978, and reschedule the regular December 25th
Council meeting to 7:30 PM Monday, December 18, 1978.
ITEM B. Receive the following bids on surplus city vehicles:
Lee's Wrecking
Bruce Saba
1974 Ford 1975 Plymouth Total
$600 $400 $1,000
152 127 279
Award the sale of both vehicles to Lee's Wrecking, 11808
Central Ave. N.E., Blaine, MN for $1,000.
ITEM C. Receive Improvement Project 1978 -10, Woodcrest Drive drainage,
feasibility report dated December 4, 1978, from Short Elliott
Hendrickson, Inc.
ITEM D. Authorize a wage increase to $6.73 per hour effective
November 11, 1978, for maintenance department mechanic,
Richard Schmidlin. The new salary rate is 95% of the
IBT Local No. 49 maintenance employee one year anniversary
rate.
ITEM E. Authorize NSP Co. to bill the City of Mounds View for
service to street lights being discontinued by Ramsey County
effective January 1, 1979. The affected lights are located
as follows:

ITEM F. Approve the Engineering Technician job description and appoint
Frank J. Kampel to the position effective January 1, 1979 at
a monthly salary of $1,000. Provide Kampel with pro -rated
sick leave and vacation leave credit for any employment in
excess of 20 hours per week prior to January 1, 1979.
