CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order
by Mayor Pickar at 7:30 PM on Monday, December 11, 1978 at the Mounds
View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112.

Councilmember Hodges
Clerk - Administrator Achen
Attorney Meyers
Mayor Pickar stated that Councilmember Hodges was out of town on
business.
MSP (Baumgartner - Ziebarth) to approve the minutes of the regular
meeting of November 27, 1978.
Councilmember Rowley stated she was abstaining from the vote as she
had not been present at the November 27 meeting.

CITIZENS COMMENTS AND REQUESTS
Bill Doty, 3049 Bronson stated that he had received a bill from the
League of Minnesota Cities for $82.34 for material the Charter Commission
had ordered, and that he felt the bill should have gone directly to the
City. Mayor Pickar replied that the bill should be turned over to
Administrator Achen, and that the proper authorities should be notified
to send the bills directly to the City.
APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA
Mayor Pickar asked that Item M be removed from the consent agenda.
Councilmember Baumgartner asked that Item G be removed from the consent
agenda. He also asked for a clarification of Check #2523 to Comstock
and Davis, for the charge of $2435 for plans and specs for repainting
the water tower. He stated that he felt the charge was excessive as
Comstock and Davis had prepared those plans for the City before.
Mayor Pickar asked Administrator Achen to check into it.
MSP (Pickar- Rowley) to approve the consent agenda as follows: 4 ayes
