RESOLUTION REVISING GROBERG AVENUE PARKING RESTRICTIONS Administrator Achen reported that on November 29 a meeting had been held in which a representative of the Police Department, the City Council and hinself had met with the residents of Groberg Avenue and Jackson Drive area to discuss parking problems. The results of that meeting indicated that the parking problems on Jackson did not merit a change but that the problems on Groberg did. Administrator Achen drew a sketch of the area and outlined the parking problems and the proposed parking restrictions. He added that he felt the resolution should be approved on a six month trial basis to insure that it is adequate. Councilmember Ziebarth stated that the people who live on Jackson Drive were quite happy with the two hour parking and were not eager to have it changed. He also stated he felt the resolution should be approved, rather than put on a trial basis, and if there are any problems, it will come back to the Council. MSP (Ziebarth- Rowley) to adopt Resolution No. 954. 5 ayes FIVE YEAR MUNICIPAL STATE AID CONSTRUCTION PLAN Mayor Pickar reported that the City is required to designate to the State where they might spend State aid money. Mayor Pickar reviewed the five priorities drawn up by Staff that established the five year plan. MSP (Hodges - Ziebarth) to adopt Resolution #951, the Five Year Street Improvement Plan and MN Dot State Aid. 5 ayes INTERIM COMPREHENSIVE SEWER PLAN UPDATE Administrator Achen reported that the Metro Waste Control Commission has asked the City to update its 1971 Comprehensive Sewer Plan. He added that the Council had discussed it at their last meeting and that the map had been updated to include the Council's input.
