CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to
order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on March 26, 1979, at the
Mounds View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112.

Councilmember Forslund
Acting Clerk - Administrator Anderson
Attorney Meyers
Mayor McCarty asked that the March 26th minutes on page 3 be
changed to read in the second paragraph:
. . and asked him to
present the plan to inform residents present and . . ."
Mayor McCarty further requested that the minutes in the same
third paragraph last line read:
•
. , discussing such proposals."
Councilmember Forslund requested that the 1st & 2nd paragraph of her
report on page 5 be revised to read:
Councilmember Forslund reported that the water treatment
plant at City Hall is being sand - blasted and repaired and
will take two to three weeks to complete. She also
reported that she had visited the office of Comstock &
Davis with the maintenance supervisor for the meeting
with H & A Contractors to review the specifications for the
cleaning and repainting of the water tower and water treatment
plant #l.
Councilmember Forslund reported that the Maintenance Department
has been working on grading the streets, using a grader
from the County when available. The sand and salt used
from the County was on an experimental basis reuse of sand
and salt caught in holding tanks from street runoff. There
was no charge for this.
